The Boss of You

Grace of Design*Sponge has a great article up on Slate right now about gender and entrepreneurism. I’ve always admired Grace’s key eye for design of course, and her obvious business savvy in building a very successful career, but with this article she becomes my superheroine of the week. Here’s a teaser to convince you to go read the whole thing:

“You’ve got to be kidding if you want me to believe that a 23 year old girl runs this site.”

“Are you sure you know how to run the finance end of this? Don’t you have an ad guy I could talk to? It’s ok if you don’t know numbers, you could just stick to design…I can suggest a great guy to help you with the hard part.”
